Your data, your decision

“Our users’ data is theirs, not ours.”

— Bettina Hein, CEO & Founder

Security.

Our top priority at juli is providing our users with safe tools and insights which help them improve their wellbeing.

In designing and implementing our tools and services, security is our highest priority and therefore, we employ rigorous measures to ensure the security of data put into our trust by our users. We have processes and procedures in place to ensure the safety of our users’ data on an organizational, architectural and operational level.

Some of the measures we have in place are:

  • All our employees get trained on security, privacy and compliance as part of their induction program when they start working at juli

  • We have rigorous testing implemented in our engineering processes

  • We monitor and audit our systems and accesses

  • Access to our systems and data is managed through roles and access is only granted on an explicit business need

  • All data is transferred and stored encrypted

  • Interaction with 3rd parties is done through well established technologies (like FHIR/HL7) and actively monitored and audited

Risk Management.

Handling personal data, especially health data, has many potential risks which need to be managed accordingly. At juli we have set up risk management processes and procedures to monitor threats, quantify risks and implement mitigation strategies to reduce them.

Our product teams perform regular security and privacy audits to identify new risks and threats. We monitor our applications, services and infrastructure for potential threats or indications of threats and quickly respond to any such threats.

We also manage risk by keeping personal data encrypted whenever possible and by blocking data immediately when it is no longer used or when a user decides to end their account.
